IT Specialist

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday


Summary

The right candidate is motivated and able to manage their time efficiently and effectively when working on their own. As a member of our IT Team, you will be providing technical support to all staff on the firm's software and hardware.


Job:

× Design, develop, integrate, test and implement information systems business solutions

× Provide ongoing troubleshooting assistance to all staff members in regards to training and support of firm hardware and software

×  Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery 

× Update of the Technical Support database and provide reports as requested


Qualifications:

× Two or more years of experience in IT

×  A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science 

×  Certification or training provided by software vendors (asset)

× Ability to effectively prioritize workload, demonstrate good judgment, and able to work under pressure

Engineer

Summary

In this position, the successful candidate will help to successfully design, test, and provide proof of concept for new remote workplace technology. 


Job:

× Meet with suppliers and subcontractors as required to validate performance and ensure equipment and work tasks are completed in support of the project's goals

× Collect, analyze and report on metrics and goals associated with subcontractor execution of assigned scopes of work

× Develop reports and communicate project's goals to the management

× Resolve issues related to subcontractors with Government representatives and regulatory bodies

× Work with Government representatives and regulatory bodies to expedite reviews and approvals if needed


Qualifications:

× Minimum of Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Engineering field

× Strong background in Mechanical and Material Engineering

× Proficient in creating engineering drawings using CAD software

× Field experience in commissioning equipment and coordinating contractors

× Experience in writing Engineering Datasheets and Specifications

× Passion for innovation and re-engineering processes for optimization

Logistics Coordinator

Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating the movement of all materials, tools, and inventory, ensuring that they arrive at the final destination on time.


Job:

× Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of product; processing purchasing transactions; scheduling transportation

× Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues

× Ensure vendor compliance when it comes to providing services for each customer

× Prepare and submit progress and other reports

× Proactively manage any potential delays and put forward recommendations to management on how to mitigate the impact to the business.


Qualifications:

× Processing and administrating Accounts Payable

× Filing of monthly GST to CRA, and filing WCB

× Maintaining budgets and providing financial reports

× Preparing expense reports and entering data

× Administrating and coordinating insurance benefits if needed

× Preparing and administrating internal invoices


Qualifications:

× 3-5 years full‐cycle bookkeeper

× Completion of or working towards CPA designation considered an asset

× Experienced in payroll

× Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel are required, QuickBooks Online and Silent Partner an asset
